Training Opportunities and Internships
The Baltimore CSP is looking for Law Enforcement and Defense Intelligence Analysts. The BCSP will provide system specific training. Electro-optical imagery intelligence analysts (EOINT) tasks: interpret, analyze, and capture imagery observables of all types, in support of national, and local security goals, concerns, and strategies. They conduct multi-imagery research; populate and exploit imagery data feeds from both wide area motion imagery and full motion video based cameras, and produce and disseminate written, graphic, and oral intelligence products.
Desired: Prior experience working with law enforcement, be a strong communicator (both verbal and nonverbal), an active learner, critical thinker, be attentive to details, and be proficient on a computer. Experience with Google earth and Microsoft Office suite.
Training Program, Internships, and Entry Level Jobs for Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analysts
The Baltimore Community Support Program (BCSP) is looking for 10-15 people interested in future employment in the Law Enforcement and Defense Intelligence areas. The BCSP will provide training, internships, and entry-level employment for a group of people interested in careers in this area.
Participants will undertake an accelerated training program and will be placed in entry-level positions supporting ongoing analysis operations. Baltimore Community Support program supports a range of law enforcement and community organization analyzing video and other imagery. The position requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and ability to communicate. Specific training and procedures are taught. Leadership and communications processes are taught through training and experience.
The training program, internships, and entry-level positions will be located in downtown Baltimore.
Desired participants include those that are interested in future employment as Defense and Law enforcement analysts.
Interest in future employment in Law Enforcement or Intelligence Analyst
Minimum: 19 years of age, High School graduate, clean record, pass drug test, and ability to complete national security and or law enforcement background check.
Internships and entry-level positions pay between $10 and $15 per hour depending on prior experience. Internships and entry-level positions have flexible hours and expect to be between 20-30 hours per week and possibly more.
Training Program and internships run 2-3 months.
